Training & Education
Kimberly is a certified Reiki Master and Reiki Master Teacher educated in the traditional Usui Ryoho lineage. Reiki is an ancient, gentle and hands-on healing therapy that facilitates deep relaxation, relieves pain and promotes healing and personal growth. Reiki stimulates each person’s innate healing potential.
Kimberly also practices Acutonics, a non-invasive system using specifically calibrated tuning forks that are used on acupuncture points, chakras and in the biofield in order to bring balance, harmony and wellness to each client. The protocol is rooted in East Asian Medicine, Energy Medicine, Cosmological studies and sound healing principles. An Acutonics session can be done alone or in combination with reiki and other energy work.
Kimberly also holds a certificate in Healing Through the Vagus Nerve which allows her to integrate Polyvagal Theory into client work. Other recent coursework includes Polyvagal Theory and Acupressure for Pain and Trauma Work with Vagal Toning. She often incorporates crystals, essential oils and selective music to support her sessions. She believes that energy work provides a foundation for whole health.
As a lifelong learner, Kimberly is always seeking out new coursework, events and experiences to strengthen her practice. She has a sincere passion to serve others and her personal experiences, approachability, and sense of humor results in one-of-a-kind healing experiences for her clients. She works with clients of all ages and backgrounds with special interest in working with mothers, women, teenagers and young adults. Areas of treatment and interest include anxiety, GI issues, intergenerational patterns and trauma, PTSD, sleep issues, migraine and nervous system regulation/dysregulation.
Kimberly’sgoal is to actively listen to clients’ needs and help them achieve balancedwellness through energy work. She is grateful every day to be part of theintegrative team at NH Health & Wellness Center.
Background
Kimberly received a B.S. in Corporate Communication and Art from Castleton State College and worked in communications for over two decades. She was raised with natural medicine as a first choice as her family doctor was Dutch and embraced holistic practices. Naturally when Kim’s firstborn son became sick at an early age and found no relief from the best allopathic doctors in New England, she sought out her first Naturopathic Doctor in 2003 and it changed the life of her family forever.
